Opening of Fire Station 5 in Munich

With the construction of Fire Station 5 on Aschheimer Street, the City of Munich has created a modern, functional, and architecturally well-considered base for emergency services in the eastern part of Munich.

Our office was responsible for the conception and implementation of the information and orientation system. In close coordination with the architects Ackermann Architekten, the client, and in compliance with the City of Munich’s design guidelines, we developed a wayfinding system that formally reflects the architecture while also meeting the high functional demands of the fire department.

The system is characterized by clear structures, high contrast, and excellent readability – features that enable rapid and safe orientation in emergency situations.

We are pleased to contribute to the daily work of the Munich Fire Department with our signage concept.
