Latest addition to the Olympic Park

The “new landmark of Munich”, the SAP Garden, is opened. As one of the most modern sports arenas in Europe, the SAP Garden is regarded by the press as Munich’s entry into a new sporting dimension. The SAP Garden is now the venue for all home games of EHC Red Bull Munich (ice hockey) and FC Bayern Basketball. Many other sports and sports-related events are also planned. In addition to professional sport in the Bowl, three additional underground ice rinks will provide space for amateur and club sport.

We developed the signage in the SAP Garden. In addition to the concept for coding the seats and blocks, this also includes the functional concept for orientation and the design of all elements such as site plans, guides, area markings and pictograms. The provision of information contributes to the identity of the location and the action sports experience. Large crowds are brought to their destinations in a short time without stress.
